We all know that petrol is going through the roof and electricity is about to follow. Water is short, and restricted and costing more. There is a flow on to other goods right across the board. This does NOT have to overwhelm your business. Enviro

How Much Green?

The most effective way to help the environment AND help your business is with a management system.

But managing your business is entirely your choice and every business is different. We still cater for different needs.

While some people need a fully certified ISO 14001, others want the tools to do their own environmental audit, understand risk management, make sense of legal compliance or build an environmental management plan.  Others really want to look after their workers occupational safety as their primary risk

YES we can help with special mini modules for all of these.

  • Audit your environmental footprint
  • Understand risk management
  • Make sense of legal compliance
  • Build an environmental management plan

Many businesses want an integrated management system that includes occupational safety, quality or food safety. Some businesses choose to implement quality or safety only.

Some businesses already have a quality management system (ISO 9001) and want to add environmental or occupational safety to their existing foundation. The Easy to be Green modular system provides this choice as a simple option with an “Add-On” module plus the Easy to be Green Module 1.

Some of you may choose to include occupational safety, quality and/or food safety (HACCP) modules if these are risks in your business. You can use other Level 1 modules for this.

"Easy to be Green" supports your choice with a step by step approach to provide you with the management system that suits your business best. It also allows you to build on what you already have if you decide to add more later. Module 2 and Module 3 are a common core that apply to all the systems.

The important thing is to recognise that regulators want to see substantiated evidence that you are actually "green" and not making false marketing claims.  "Easy to be Green"  shows you haw to do this.

The graphic below illustrates the order that you build your system and how you can choose your foundation modules.  There are several certifications possible for you using this training program and these are listed below.

  • Environmental Module + Module 2 = easy business system
  • Environmental Module + Module 2 + Module 3 = ISO 14001
  • Quality Module + Module 2 + Module 3 = ISO 9001
  • HACCP Module + Module 2 +Module 3 = ISO 22000
  • Safety Module + Module 2 + Module 3 =AS/NZS 4801

“When we first decided to look into EMS I must admit I was very hesitant and thought I was way out of my league to even try.  Only 6 months down the track we have completed our first audit.  I found the EMS a valuable tool in making us reassess... Tracy Warland
