Groups of Businesses Working Online

Enviro Action runs training in ISO 14001 for a variety of businesses working together in groups.

These groups have a maximum of 10 participants and the group experience enriches all of them.

The groups have included pest control companies, printers, cleaners, registered training organisations, building contractors, farmers, turf growers, fishers, stock feed manuafacture, abalone growers and more.  It is really interesting when I find a subcontractor who does a lot of work on building sites and a building contractor in one group because they are really able to help each other!  There are many example of similar synergies happening between businesses separated by many thousands of Kms and in different time zones. 

Location is completely irrelevant in the online environment and because teleconferences for different groups are help at different times of the day, we can accomodate people from all around the world!

It is not unusual to have clients doing a variety of systems in the one group.  One group running during the midle of 2008 had some businesses doing ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, others doing occupational health and safety plus ISO 14001 and yet others doing just ISO 14001.  In this case the quality and safety modules ran first then the full group came together to do the environmental mofules plus completing their systems with modules 2 and 3.
