Adams is a medium size business with 75 employees, turnover of over $10 million, operating in Victoria and South Australia.

Adams has been a family owned business for over 60 years priding itself on being large enough to adapt to continual change whilst small enough to quickly respond to the client's changing requirements.

Adams Pest Control has had an ISO 9001 management system since 1996, which was a first in the pest control industry in Australia. As part of their continual improvement process they reviewed their customers' needs, regulatory and staff requirements and even their broader impact on the environment. They decided to move to an integrated approach and worked with Enviro Action to add ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 (HACCP) and fully integrate their existing occupational health and safety policies so that they had only one management system. HACCP was added to ensure that they consider potential impact of their pest control operations on their food business clients.
